Along with my ISU colleague Dave Pearson, I am looking to recruit several MS Geology students to start in the summer of 2023 to work on a deep-time thermochronology project funded by the National Science Foundation. Interested? Read more about my current research and this project, and then email me to introduce yourself.
ISU Geosciences has a student-focused and highly regarded M.S. program. A masters degree from our department will give you the most employable degree in the Geosciences. It will also prepare you to thrive at a top-tier Earth Science Ph.D. program, if that career path interests you. Check out our Grad Handbook and website for information about our graduate programs and department culture.
I look for students with a strong background in at least one of the following areas: geochemistry, field geology, or modeling/coding.
Please note that although ISU Geosciences has a Ph.D program, I generally do not recruit Ph.D. students to my research group.
