Did you receive an Honorable Mention on a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship proposal in the last three years? Apply to join my lab group and be supported by one of our EPSCoR Graduate Research Fellowships. *** I am on sabbatical for the 2026-2027 academic year and so I may be slower to respond to email inquiries than usual. If you are interested in joining my group starting August of 2027, please send me an email. I will respond to you as soon as I can. |
ISU Geosciences has a student-focused and highly regarded M.S. Geology program. A research-based masters degree from our department will give you the most employable degree in the Geosciences. It will also prepare you to thrive at a top-tier Earth Science Ph.D. program, if that career path interests you. Check out our Grad Handbook and website for information about our graduate programs and department culture.
I look for students with a strong interest or background in at least one of the following areas: geochemistry, field geology, or modeling/coding. Please note that although ISU Geosciences has a Ph.D program, I generally do not recruit Ph.D. students to my research group. |
